This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through our website at www.thrivecapitalco.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us through the Site, by email, or by phone.
This policy does not cover information we receive in the course of a client engagement or transaction. That information is governed by the applicable engagement letter, confidentiality agreement, or other written agreement.

Please do not send us confidential deal information, financial account numbers, or government identifiers through the contact form. A partner will follow up to arrange an appropriate channel for sensitive material.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it (city, region, country)
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring website, and links clicked
- Date and time of your visit
- Cookie identifiers, as described in Section 4
Information from other sources
We may combine the information above with information from publicly available sources, such as professional networking profiles and company websites, to understand who we are speaking with and to respond appropriately to an inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about potential engagements
- Evaluate whether a prospective transaction or relationship is a fit for our firm
- Send you updates about our firm, if you have asked to receive them or where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time)

4. Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses the following:
| Provider | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Site analytics, contact form submission, and associating form submissions with prior visits to the Site | __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, __hssrc |
| Google Fonts | Delivers the typeface used on the Site. Google receives your IP address and browser information when the font file is requested. No cookies are set. | None |
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts and delivers the Site. Standard server logs record IP address, requested page, browser, and time of request for security and troubleshooting. | None |
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, parts of the Site, including the contact form, may not work as intended. See Section 8 for more options.
We do not use cookies or similar technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only as follows:
- Service providers. Vendors that perform services for us under contracts that restrict their use of the data, including HubSpot (customer relationship management, forms, and analytics), Amazon Web Services (hosting), and Google (font delivery, email, and productivity tools).
- Professional advisors. Our lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers, where needed for their services to us.
- Transaction counterparties, with your direction. If you engage us, we may share information with prospective investors, buyers, or partners as you authorize in connection with the engagement.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or regulatory request, or when we believe disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Thrive, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Contact form submissions and correspondence are generally retained for as long as there is an active or prospective business relationship, and afterward for the period required by law or reasonably needed for recordkeeping, typically no more than seven years. Server logs are retained for a shorter period for security purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and encryption of stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
- Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us at legal@thrivecapitalco.com.
- Cookies. Adjust your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Browser extensions can also block analytics scripts.
- Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.
- Do Not Track. Because there is no common industry standard for Do Not Track signals, the Site does not respond to them. We honor GPC as described above.
9. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), may give you the following rights, subject to exceptions:

11. Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal information on the following legal bases: our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, developing business relationships, and operating a secure Site; taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; your consent, where required (for example, for non-essential cookies); and compliance with legal obligations. You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The Site links to third-party websites and services, such as LinkedIn and X. Those services have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
